Scoliologic® Workshop, Canada

How inspiring it was to witness the determination, focus and positive attitude of the adolescent patients who participated in the Scoliologic® “Best Practice” hands-on workshop in Toronto, Canada. Techniques and programs for health (exercise, fitness, dieting, nutrition) are always evolving, and of course, scoliosis treatment is no different. This past week, it was my great [...]

Scoliosis and Sports

I am frequently asked about sports participation and scoliosis, for the growing adolescent or the adult who wants to be physically active but fears curve progression. [...]

Evaluating Scoliosis-Chest Expansion

At Scoliosis 3DC we measure chest expansion because respiratory deficits associated with thoracic scoliosis can occur as a secondary response to decreased rib mobility. After our program and a couple of follow-up visits for focus and motivation, Y reduced his curve by 35% to 13º.

Recent Schroth Results

A recent email from a mother of twins with scoliosis: "Just got back from S's six months appointment (L doesn't have to go anymore!) Her curves got even better. A year ago she was 39º and 31º, six months ago 31º and 33º, today she is 28º and 31º. The doctor says keep doing whatever she is doing. I am ready to shout from the roof top. SCHROTH REALLY WORKS!!!!!! I never expected her to get even better. Thank God we found you Marc."  K.Y. Connecticut
