Hi Nancy,

I am unaware of Schroth providers in the Los Angeles area. If you'd like to travel to Boston to learn Schroth, let us know. Our long program is designed to accommodate patients coming from a distance.

Hi Kathy,

It does sound like your daughter may be a potential candidate for Schroth. However, there are numerous factors to consider prior to initiating our program. A few are: Risser sign, bone age, medical history, spinal flexibility, discipline (is your child willing to do the program?) etc. Our program is comprehensive and usually seven days of training for three hours duration. Many people from the NY, NJ area or beyond, choose to break up the training into sessions over 4 day, then 3 day over two long weekends.

Typically, patients email, or snail mail, recent x-rays, five digital photos as indicated on the New Patient page, and a scoliosis and medical history for an assessment.

It happens that Marc just received a testimonial from a mom who brought her son from New Jersey in August; his scoliosis was in the same range as your daughter’s. You may want to check out her perspective of the program on our Schroth Testimonials page.

Hi my daughter has mild scoliosis and was in a spinec or brace since 9. She recently turned 13 and curve progressed to a 24 degree curve. Do you think your program would benefit her? She is currently seen by dr Deutchman and dr. Lama Tia in NYC.
