Conservative Treatment of Scoliosis – Inspirational People

The movement for the conservative treatment of scoliosis is growing, albeit slowly, in the US. After our nearly ten years involvement in the field, primary players are still European and Schroth is spreading to other parts of the world much more rapidly than in the US. Although Schroth has been relatively slow to catch on in the US, its existence in Germany for nearly 90 years should give cause to American scoliosis patients, and parents, to stop and question why the traditional medical community is not on board with a technique that can dramatically improve a scoliosis patients quality of life without surgery. And why at least do they not recommend it at first diagnosis rather than using a wait and see approach.

At Scoliosis 3DC, we work tirelessly to inform others of the benefits experienced by patients using the Schroth Method and will continue to do so. A few key individuals have been on the same mission we signed on to long before we were, all have inspired, and continue to inspire us, along the way and we are grateful to them for their work.
