JM, currently a 16.5 year-old female, was initially examined on 05/26/09. X-rays (left) taken on 05/08/09 indicate a 29º right thoracic, 37º left lumbar scoliosis. Chest expansion was 6.5 cm. She began the Schroth program on 05/30/09 and participated in 17 sessions of approximately 1.5 hours duration over the course of the summer. Independent x-ray occurred on October 16, 2009 (center image) showing Cobb angles of 23º right thoracic, 28º left lumbar.  The patient presented on 12/05/09 for a follow-up and chest expansion had improved to 11cm. Updated x-ray (right image)  taken on 6/28/10 show Cobb angles of 20º right thoracic and 21º left lumbar, showing a reduced scoliosis and a category decrease from moderate to mild.
