amy heller otr/l, schroth therapistAmy Heller, OTR/L

Amy is one of our Schroth certified practitioners. Amy and Dr. Marc’s relationship goes back to her adolescent years when he treated her as a chiropractic patient. She then worked with him at the beginning of his scoliosis journey before earning a degree in occupational therapy at Quinnipiac University. She worked for several years focusing on children with motor delays/challenges, sensory processing difficulties, and developmental disabilities (including Down syndrome and autism spectrum). She joined Scoliosis 3DC® in 2013.

An effective and caring teacher of Schroth, she is as passionate as Dr. Marc is about our mission. During brace fittings, she works diligently to make sure patients are comfortable and does an excellent job of educating families about brace wear and what to expect. As one mom so aptly stated, “Amy is so sweet and just the right amount of tough.”

kim kruzel otr/l, schroth therapistKim Kruzel, OTR/L

Kim apprenticeship under Dr. Marc and Amy consisted of many months of Schroth  study and extensive hands-on training. Patients love her and she is the perfect complement to our team for several reasons, including her experience working in orthopedics and mental health, her affinity for working with children and adolescents, and her overall holistic/biopsychosocial approach to medicine. Kim is a native of western Massachusetts, earning her degree in occupational therapy from Springfield College. She is a registered yoga teacher so there is no one better to instruct a patient when they have a passion for yoga on the do’s and dont’s of practicing yoga when you have scoliosis. Kim has an interests in fitness and pain management.

scoliosis 3dc teamMaja

Maja is no longer a member of our team but remains a treasured friend. After completing her program at our office in 2014 we invited her to join our team. Her understanding of Schroth concepts made her an invaluable resource and we include her here because while she was with us she was the co-author of two important research papers on our program and another on the many theories regarding the causes of scoliosis. While here, she was our point person for patient communications and scheduling. A caring, calming voice, she worked diligently to raising awareness for evidence-based nonsurgical scoliosis treatment. She is a graduate of Boston University just like Dr. Marc and Kathy.

kathy moramarco, scoliosis 3dcKathy Moramarco

Kathy knows exactly how it feels to be a parent of a child suddenly diagnosed with scoliosis. Kathy’s been by Dr. Marc’s side for more than forty years. As a result of their mission to help their daughter, she’s become a natural advocate for families facing the same challenges her family faced back in 2001. When you call, she will listen intently and will understand your perspective perhaps better than most. She is as passionate as Dr. Marc about helping patients via conservative treatment approaches for scoliosis.  At Scoliosis 3DC® she wears many hats! On any given day she may be a communicator, blogger, researcher, webmaster, problem solver, facilitator, and/or social media contributor. Kathy works with families and/or patients to coordinate your visits and determine the most efficient scheduling.  She has contributed to several publications office about scoliosis including Schroth Therapy: Advancements in Conservative Scoliosis Treatment.

Jeannine has been by Dr. Marc’s side for thirty years. She is warm, nurturing, and the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. She will most likely be the person to answer the phone when you call. Her classic Boston accent is easily recognizable! She’s in early most days, and always goes out of her way to help patients and families with anything they may need. Her enthusiasm for our program makes her a great cheerleader for our patients, both young and old.
