- 13-year-old female
- Initial Cobb angles 33º/21º
- Risser 0
When this NJ teen with scoliosis initially came to see us, she was at significant risk of progression. Fortunately, she is now doing quite well thanks to the scoliosis management protocols used.
With Cobb angles of 33º and 21º decreasing to 22º and 11º to this point she attained a wonderful result. At the stage reported here, she is estimated to be a Risser 2. With the potential for continued growth, we strive to help our patients improve. When a brace is well-designed and compliance continues thru Risser 5 patients may be able to take advantage of growth to positively influence the spine.
