• Initial Cobb angles: 18º & 16º
  • Out of brace result: 9º & 5º

This twelve-year-old Boston area girl came to us with scoliosis Cobb angels of 18º and 16º. At her recent six month follow-up x-ray her curves now measure 9º and 5º. By definition, this is no longer considered scoliosis. This is another case of being proactive when it comes to scoliosis treatment and not waiting for the 25º medial threshold to brace scoliosis in teens.
