• 13-year-old female
  • Initial Cobb angles 33º/21º
  • Risser 0

When this NJ teen with scoliosis initially came to see us, she was at significant risk of progression. Fortunately, she is now doing quite well thanks to Schroth Best Practice® exercises and the Chêneau-Gensingen brace.

While she is still under our care, her Cobb angles have so far reduced to 22º and 11º.  We think she’s attaining a wonderful result. Currently, her stage of growth is estimated as a Risser 2. She still has room for additional growth and may continue to improve with continued management as the Gensingen brace takes advantage of remaining growth to positively influence the spine.
