• 12-year-old female
  • Initial Cobb angles 34º/25º
  • Risser 0

This adolescent from Georgia is still under our care. To date, her scoliosis has improved by 9º. Due to rapid growth, she’s needed three braces in the past eighteen months. Fortunately, Gensingen braces are designed according to curve pattern and each successive brace works to remodel the spine.

When this adolescent first came to see us her scoliosis angles measured 34º and 25º. Her most recent out-of-brace x-ray showed curves of 23º and 22º and a Risser sign of 3. Although her growth is slowing, we are hoping she can still experience a bit of additional improvement.
