On Saturday April 17, Marc presented his experiences to over one-hundred German professionals interested in the conservative treatment of scoliosis. Three German physical therapists also spoke at the conference hosted by Dr. Hans-Rudolf Weiss in Gensingen, Germany. His mother Christa Lehnert-Schroth P.T. and author of The Schroth Method-Three Dimensional Treatment for Scoliosis, was also in attendance. Marc said his presentation was extremely well-received and the crowd asked many questions. He said they were particularly interested in his results regarding the improvement of chest expansion and lung capacity for scoliosis patients. I really don’t have as many details as I would like because we have spent the majority of the last two days planning his exit strategy from Europe due to the volcanic eruptions. Originally, we were planning a much needed vacation to Italy after my arrival, scheduled for the morning of his presentation. Instead, he stayed with Dr. Weiss on Saturday night then decided to drive to Zurich on Sunday. After staying the night there, he headed for Barcelona today to try and get out of Europe from Spain via Portugal, since as of Sunday those airports were mostly open. Tomorrow he heads for Lisbon (hopefully) and the first available flight from Lisbon to the US is Wednesday. When he returns, we will post more details on the scoliosis conference and maybe on his European adventure. He is scheduled to return to Germany in June for an intensive week with Dr. Weiss, but that may depend on the volcano…
